Hi Kathleen— The pictures are great! Thanks for sharing with us. It brings back many memories of our honeymoon over there. In fact we spent some time with you when you were there on your first trip. Have you found the German chocolate????
Sending you much love & prayers.

Hi Kathleen, I am back in SC teaching fall semester and tracked you down, courtesy of your sis Michelle who gave me this marvellous website which now I read daily. I’ve looked at all the pictures, poems and marvel at all the love and light that emanates from you and your friends and Howard! Que bueno! Que maravillosa, mi amiga.
I’m having a good bit of fun teaching my memoirs class with 35 enrolled this time. Some of my “old” students have rejoined me–and that is always a thrill. I have one 80 plus year old who is writing about her experiences in WW II. But all 4 courses are delightful and I jump into it all with gratitude that I am born to this noble work!! You know how I feel.
Sunday I meet for the first time with my new tutor for espanol, a sophomore at UCSC, who is willing to take my cause! It is so hard to find someone who will just converse with me so that I can keep developing my still small skills. I will of course pay her but it just means so much to have a willing listener.
Just finished reading Stephen King’s book On Writing. I find it immensely rewarding and helpful.
Please know that I send you constant bunches of light and love from my little corner of SC to yours in Munich.
Much love, Kathy
